The socket is designed for chips with SO16W 300 mil package. The socket can be soldered directly on the SO16W 300 mil PCB foot print.

1. SO16W 300 mil PCB foot print

2. SO16W SPI Flash

3. Replace the SPI Flash with SO16W Socket

4. Insert SPI Flash into the SO16W Socket

5. Done
