BIOS Debug tools Phoenix CoreArchitect 2 Phoenix CoreArchitect 2 provides the possibilites of PhDebug and includes support for debugging using an USB port of the target system. For more information of Phoenix CoreArchitect 2 click here. PhDebug PhDebug is a very strong software debug tool. It provides the possibility of debugging for pre-boot, Run Time, and system management interrupt (SMI) code. It uses either serial or bidirectional parallel cables connecting the host computer and the development platform. In many development cases it reduces the requirement of an ICE (In-Circuit-Emulator) PhDebug supports the Phoenix BIOS brands: Phoenix BIOS, Award BIOS, FirstBIOS Pro and FirstBIOS code. Amber Debug Card The Amber Debug Card is a PCI compatible hardware diagnostic card that allows PhDebug code to be available outside of the ROM Unit Under Test (UUT). The card allows debug code to be mapped directly into memory space with minimal code requirements in the UUT. This capability gives deployment engineers a more realistic test environment for their ROM UUT and greatly simplifies setup of PhDebug. A program that loads the debugger interface onto the Amber Debug Module is included with the product. The product requires PhDebug or Phoenix CoreArchitect 2 to operate. Phoenix BIOS, Award BIOS, FirstBIOS Pro and FirstBIOS code support the Amber Debug Card. |
